Getting Started
What is Anemes?
Anemes is a platform where you hide your mysteries, share your link, and see who can truly uncover them. It's about discovering who really knows you beyond surface-level details. Visitors take a mystery challenge, and if they pass, they unlock your AI for a real conversation.
How do I create my profile?
Sign up with your email, choose a username, then answer 15 mystery questions about yourself. These questions become the challenge visitors must solve. Optionally, train your AI with 20 additional questions to enable AI chat for visitors who pass the challenge.
Is Anemes free?
Yes! Anemes is completely free during our beta phase. Create your profile, share mysteries, and engage with visitors at no cost.
How long does setup take?
About 5 minutes total: 2 minutes for the 15 mystery questions, and 3 minutes for the optional 20 AI training questions. You can always come back to complete your AI setup later.
Mystery Challenge
How does the mystery challenge work?
Visitors to your profile are shown 5 random questions from your 15 mysteries. They must guess your answers correctly. Get 3 out of 5 right to pass and unlock your AI chat. Fail, and they wait 24 hours before trying again.
Why 3 out of 5 instead of perfect 5/5?
We want to reward people who know you well, not just those who make lucky guesses. Getting 3/5 shows genuine understanding while keeping it challenging but achievable.
What happens after someone fails?
After a failed attempt, visitors must wait 24 hours before trying your mystery challenge again. They can attempt up to 3 times per day when not in cooldown.
Can I see who attempted my challenge?
For privacy, visitors remain anonymous. You'll see aggregated stats in your dashboard: total attempts, passes, and pass rate, but not individual identities.
Can visitors skip the mystery challenge?
No. The mystery challenge is required to access your AI chat. This ensures only people who truly know you can have deeper conversations with your AI.
AI Chat
What is the AI chat feature?
Your AI is trained on 20 questions you answer about yourself. When visitors pass the mystery challenge, they can chat with your AI, which responds based on your training data. It's like talking to a digital version of you.
How accurate is my AI?
Your AI generates responses based on the training data you provide. The more detailed and thoughtful your answers, the more authentic your AI will be. However, AI responses are not always 100% perfect representations.
Is AI training mandatory?
No. You can create your profile with just the 15 mystery questions. However, without AI training, visitors who pass your challenge won't have anyone to chat with. We highly recommend setting it up!
Can I update my AI training?
Yes! You can retrain your AI anytime from your dashboard. New training data will replace the old, so your AI stays current as you evolve.
How many messages can visitors send?
Visitors can send up to 20 messages per session with your AI. This resets after 24 hours, allowing for a new conversation session.
What if someone harasses my AI?
We use AI to detect harassment, hate speech, and inappropriate behavior. After 3 strikes, the chat automatically terminates. You'll see incident reports in your dashboard.
Privacy & Security
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Better-Auth, and encrypted password storage. We never sell your data to third parties or advertisers.
Who can see my mysteries?
Your mystery questions and answers are only shown to visitors who attempt your challenge. They're not publicly displayed on your profile page before the challenge starts.
Can profile owners see visitor identities?
No. Visitors remain completely anonymous. You only see aggregated analytics: view counts, attempt counts, pass rates, and chat session counts - never individual identities.
What data do you collect?
We collect: email, username, gender (optional), password (encrypted), mystery answers, AI training data, and anonymized usage analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account anytime from your dashboard settings. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Sharing & Engagement
How do I share my profile?
Your unique profile URL is anemes.me/your-username. Share it anywhere: Instagram bio, Twitter, TikTok, Discord, or text it to friends. Anyone with the link can view your profile and attempt the challenge.
What shows on my public profile?
Your public profile displays: your username, a preview of the mystery challenge, stats (view count, attempt count), and a call-to-action button to start the challenge. Your actual mysteries are hidden until someone attempts the challenge.
Can I see who viewed my profile?
You can see the total number of profile views, but not individual viewer identities. This protects visitor privacy while giving you engagement insights.
How can I get more people to try my challenge?
Share your Anemes link on social media, add it to your bio, or send it directly to friends and family. The more you share, the more people will discover your mysteries!
Troubleshooting
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click 'Forgot password?' on the login page. Enter your email, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.
My AI isn't responding correctly. Help?
Try retraining your AI from your dashboard. Make sure your training answers are detailed and authentic. The quality of your AI responses depends on the quality of your training data.
I'm locked out after failed attempts. When can I try again?
After 3 failed attempts on someone's mystery challenge, you must wait 24 hours before trying again. This prevents spam and encourages thoughtful attempts.
Can I change my username?
Currently, usernames cannot be changed after account creation. Choose carefully during signup! If you need a username change, contact us at connect@nogenxai.com.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
Try refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, or using a different browser. If issues persist, email us at connect@nogenxai.com with details about the problem.
Beta & Future
What does 'beta' mean?
Anemes is currently in beta, meaning we're actively testing and improving features. You might encounter occasional bugs, and features may change. Your feedback helps us build something amazing!
Will features change?
Yes! We're constantly improving based on user feedback. Some features may be added, modified, or removed. We'll notify you of major changes via email or platform notices.
